Description
The Xilinx Zynq XC7Z100 PCBA prototype combines a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore processor (up to 800 MHz) with a high-density programmable logic fabric equivalent to Kintex-7. Key FPGA resources include approximately 444K logic cells, 277,400 LUTs, 554,800 flip-flops, 2,020 DSP slices, and 26.5 Mb of Block RAM. This architecture allows seamless software-hardware co-design for demanding real-time applications.
The compact black multilayer PCB includes the central XC7Z100 SoC, surrounding DDR memory devices, power regulation circuits, clock sources, and various passive components. Mounting holes and gold-plated pads support reliable mechanical integration and electrical connection. The design is optimized for industrial-grade reliability and is well-suited as a core module or standalone prototype board.
Typical use cases include:
- Industrial automation and control systems
- Machine vision and image processing
- High-speed data acquisition and signal processing
- Communication baseband and protocol processing
- Medical and scientific instrumentation
- Custom embedded computing platforms
As a PCBA prototype, this board supports flexible customization of interfaces, memory configuration, and form factor according to project requirements. It is ideal for R&D teams, system integrators, and OEMs who need a proven Zynq-7000 high-end platform to accelerate development cycles.
